Tall Phlox, botanically known as Phlox paniculata or commonly as garden phlox, is native to North America. Phlox is a staple in the perennial garden since it mixes easily with other plants and provides extended blooms throughout the summer. Regardless of the color, garden phlox is fragrant, rich in nectar and attracts pollinators, especially hummingbirds. Vigorous grower with sturdy stems that withstand adverse weather conditions. A perennial if planted USDA zones 4-8 and will return for years to come reaching maturity in year three.
About this Variety
Phlox paniculata Blue Boy produces bluish flower clusters resembling hydrangeas and has a strong perfume fragrance. Creates a fine cut flower.
